Instruction for Session Chairs

Each session room is hosted by a conference staff to assist you with Zoom meeting room operation and to play the presentation video.

The conference staff will play the presentation video, if the order have any change please let conference staff know.

Before the Session Starts

1. Enter the meeting room at least 10 minutes prior to the starting time of the session to introduce yourself to your Co-Chair (if available), presenters, and the hosting staff.

2. Please be reminded that all the time shown in the program is based on Japan Standard Time (JST) UTC/GMT +9 hours. You may use the Time Zone Converter to convert to your local time.

3. Turn on your video when entering the meeting room. If you experience any difficulties sharing your video, please visit the Zoom Help Center.

4. Please start the session on time.

5. The conference staff will play the presentation video, if the order has any change please let conference staff know.

During the Session

1. Introduce yourself and your Co-Chair to open the session.

2.Check the attending presenters to before the start of session.

3. Briefly introduce the presentations and the presenters.

4. Remind the audience to mute audio and stop video.

5. Remind the audience to enter questions at the chat box.

During the Q&A

1. Q&A is suggested to be scheduled after all presentations are completed.

2. Prepare at least one question for each presentation to stimulate the discussion.  

3. Briefly introduce the presentations and the presenters.

4. Please end the session on time.

Examination criteria:

Comprehensively evaluate the significance of the research content, the degree of contribution to the research by the individual presenter, the ease of understanding the presentation, and the accuracy of the question answering.
