Building on-site design

One hundred contemporary Chinese architects, Professor Wang Xingtian, based on regional history and culture, and formed the concept of "local design" with the basic idea of "Beauty and Han style", and conducted design and theoretical research on coastal mountain architecture, regional ecological architecture, climate adaptability, etc. The research field is mainly in local architectural design theory and creation. He advocates reducing the load of buildings on the environment and applying them in design practice, highlighting the ecological nature of buildings, in order to create buildings that conform to the spatial characteristics of regional cities. The main representative works include "China Nantong Abacus Museum", "Wuxi Taihu Hotel State Guest House", etc. He has won 36 design awards such as the "Architectural Creation Excellence Award of the Architectural Society of China" and the "National Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Industry Award Second Prize of Construction Engineering".
